Dessie is a very intelligent lovely person - white Christian but obviously lapsed - who home-schools her beautiful musical-genious daughter.  This is an interesting person's opinion.

Hmmmm, well of course it’s true! I have a very good black friend and we have long long talks about suppression and radical muslim ideals and charter schools and statistics and tons of stuff and black against black crime, etc.  So, I can safely say there are some blacks who agree with me on this:

Blacks need better leaders.  Not assholes like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.  On the surface, they SEEM good, at least to the blacks, but in reality, you need things like more private and charter schools in the inner cities, AGGRESSIVE action on the part of leaders who will DEMAND better education.  The trickle down of that will result in cohesive families, better values, less poverty, crime, better self esteem!!!, etc.

I could talk about this forever.  But K has a lesson.  Got to run!!

What do you think?

I think that this being a white Christian nation - by definition - everything done here is expected to be white and Christian.  It is a GIVEN.  Therefore by iterating that it is a WHITE nation or a WHITE TV station or WHITE WEEK - is being racist (in a homegrown way).  Therefore he is correct for the most part in his analysis.

Blacks need better leaders - Black History Month week 2

Hi Judie:

Dessie's positions are very good except for her last paragraph which is completely wrong.  The error results from a lack of knowledge of Black History (the very ugly seldom taught parts).  Blacks are still facing organized opposition (KKK, Christian White Supremacist, Neo-Nazis, White Citizens Council, etc. etc.) which did not die out after the Civil War or Civil Rights.

Every Black leader on earth and throughout history who was effective, was disgraced, exiled or killed by our organized opposition.  Very few escaped.  Fredrick Douglass escaped from slavery and rose to become an advisor to President Lincoln.  On his deathbed he was asked by Blacks around him, what are we to do (we can't replace leaders like you).  He said "agitate, Agitate, AGITATE".

Al Sharpton is one of the latest to step up to that plate AND ESCAPE DEATH.  Efforts to discredit him and attempts on his life, tell me that he is an effective agitator.  The effort to discredit Al Sharpton did not begin with the Tawana Brawley disappearing rape kit, but the effort was so effective that most White people and many Blacks think her rape was a hoax.  Most blacks knew that white police had a reputation for raping black whores (every black woman or girl was considered a whore).

He and Jessie Jackson are to be lauded for risking their lives standing up for Blacks.  Some Blacks think they are assholes for sticking their necks out, (Fighting the Powers that be) for Blacks.  I am certain that if they were more effective as Black leaders, they would be dead.  The way the Black Panthers were slaughtered, framed and imprisoned (political prisoners), tells all blacks that to stand up, is to risk death or worse.

Similarly, in Africa, if a leader comes to power with ideas of helping his people (usually means big corporate interests will be infringed upon), then if that leader can't be bought off, he is killed off or framed (discredited) and a stooge put in power in his place.  In this country it has always been open season on "boat rocking" Black leaders and potential Black leaders.  The list of Black leaders killed or exiled by the organized opposition is very, very long.

Usually at this point, those who do not know, raise their skepticism: This is just another outrageous conspiracy theory and nothing could be further from the truth.  When I was a kid in grade school (circa 1943), I argued with white students who believed blacks could not play good enough for major league baseball.  I said there was a conspiracy to keep blacks out of major league sports.  They laughed and laughed.  We now know that such a conspiracy existed.

There are two new books out that show just how sick and pervasive these conspiracies are.  The first is Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present by Harriet WashingtonThis book will make you think the Nazis were humane by comparison.  (http://www.medicalapartheid.com/  click PRAISE, EXCERPT,  denver post http://www.denverpost.com/excerpts/ci_4952927

http://www.campusi.com/author_Harriet_A._Washington.htm)

The other new book is Complicity: How the North Promoted, Prolonged, and Profited from Slavery by Anne Farrow, Joel Lang, and Jenifer Frank.  Here we learn just how much uglier slavery really was than we have been told before.

I answered the anti-conspiracy people in an email on my website at http://www.advancedresearchconsultants.com/conspiracy.htm

Ken…(via Judy – wow, I had no idea my email would be forwarded, but that’s cool)

KEN YOU ARE SO WRONG!!!!!!!!!! God bless you and your brilliant mind, but they ARE NOT the friend of their race – they are pawns. They are being manipulated!  Maybe they know it, maybe they don’t.  I have no doubt they are brave, but they are NOT smart.  They are sensationalized trophies.

ABSOLUTELY there are conspiracies.  That is exactly what I am saying.  But you need leaders who will do something about it litigiously, not for the sake of sensationalism.  I’m well aware of the gov’t’s experiments, the syphilis experiments, etc. (if that is what the book you mention is about…I should take a second to go to Amazon and make sure).

And absolutely, nobody will ever know the horror and fear and subhuman conditions emotionally, physically, psychologically, humanely, etc. that affected, afflicted and sucked out the very last drop of life from the victims of slavery.  Horrible.  But while awareness is the catalyst for action and reaction and ultimately, reparation, it can make one a slave all over again.  There must be a balance of awareness and action.  To simply live in the memory of tortured pain and anger will suppress creative leadership, positive life force, and cerebral inspiration!  This sounds disrespectful, but it can’t consume your people.  You almost have to forget about it TO A CERTAIN EXTENT(though out of respect for the tortured souls before you, you can’t completely).  You have to word thoughts, ideals and philosophies VERY carefully, like a politician twisting every bit of sophistry possible, so that the camera sees only an icon of integrity and leadership.  Not just the documentaries of injustice – as right as they are to be heard!!!!!!

I’m not anti-conspiracy.  Definitely don’t put me in that group!! Just ask my daughter.  I sit up to all hours probing and wondering about a variety of these things.

I’m anti-dwell on it.  YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME.  The “what looks good on camera” game.  How can I present myself to the new generations of open minded spongelike voters.  HOW CAN I GET TO THEM FIRST?  How can I PR my way into their perception of intelligent, contributing members of society who have something to offer “me”.  The almighty “me”.  What is in it for them?  They have to be made to understand that the black man/woman is every bit a piece of humanity as they are.  (Is that degrading?? Damn right.  Is it smart and will it work?  I think so.) (As they indeed are – EXCEPT, THE BLACK MAN DOESN’T KNOW IT OR BELIEVE IT HIMSELF, YET!! And that makes for doubt. That messes with how they are perceived. ) The “angry” lets-make-society-aware of the tragedies, the unfairnesses, the history -- makes people “uneasy”.  They sense anger, injustice, and retribution. (Rightfully so, though.) But that isn’t going to work. You don’t have to be a social psychiatrist to know that scares people.

The only way to gain the true equality (not the fake shit like, oh, we have the governmental quota as mandated by law of blacks in our medical school type stuff) is to become a nation of educated citizens.  You have the strength of numbers!  Now what would happen if everyone became aware of the law, and psychology, and activism, etc., etc.?  Think about it.  A nation of educated people dripping with confidence and self esteem.

Schools that kicked out deadbeat teachers!

Schools that demanded the same funding as a WASP neighborhood!!

Neighborhoods that started charter schools and ran things they way THEY want.  It worked in some prototypes in Harlem!!

Schools that disciplined the crap right out of every kid who fell for the bullshit that is used to keep inner cities dumb and happy!  Like drugs.  Like instant gratification.  Like loving your street brothers more than your family.  LIKE DISCIPLINING RESPECT BACK INTO THEIR NOBLE MINDS!!! RESPECT FOR WHOM???   T H E M S E L V E S first!!  Nobody else but themselves.  And Al and Jessie Jackson are not doing that, nor demanding it.  And nobody can tell me otherwise!!

You tell me what logically seems like it would work better:

1,000 black kids from Al Sharpton’s neighborhood who are up on all the conspiracies, are sensitized to the history of their culture and race and who are “mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore” or…

1,000 black kids from Al’s neighborhood who glances in his direction, but instead of getting pissed off to the point of yelling at a camera and going on “a march” they spend their time graduating as politicians, lawyers and TEACHERS!!

I don’t know if we’ll ever agree on that “last point” of mine.  I give my opinion only with respect.  But I know I’m right, deep down.  I wish you fortitude and inspiration in your fight for equality, and freedom to be even more than equal, and your desire to keep awareness at the forefront, but I really wish for the black people slickness.  Shrewdness and the ability to know when to fight fire with fire.  Forget the wonderful campaigns of history and righteous indignation!  Forget it!  Outsmart them instead.  It’s the shortcut.  It doesn’t taste as delicious as having the world feel it the way they should, but to quote a smart person who once said: the ends will justify the means!!

Then…then you can say it how you like. Thousands of people can write books and tell the story better and with credentials.

(And don’t be dragged down by societal scum like supremacists, etc. They don’t count for a majority.  Yes, they are dangerous.  But one black lawyer is more effective against that than 100 marchers in Washington.  Believe me.)

Do you admire this man??  I do.  (Although there are some issues I do disagree with.) Do you think I’m missing something?  Maybe I am…

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Keyes

Keyes has said his favorite professor at Cornell and Harvard was the political philosophy professor Allan Bloom. A passage of Bloom's best-selling book,The Closing of the American Mind, (ISBN 0-671-65715-1) (Simon & Schuster, 1987) refers to an African American student "whose life had been threatened by a black faculty member when the student refused to participate in a demonstration" at Cornell. (Ibid., p 316) That student was Alan Keyes.[citation needed]

A descendent of slaves, Keyes wrote a book on the problems affecting black America called Masters of the Dream: The Strength and Betrayal of Black America (ISBN 0-688-09599-2).

Blessings!!  Have a great day.

WoW!  Another thinking person.  Thanks Judie.

Hi Dessie:

Much of what you say is absolutely correct, but some is absolutely wrong.  I suspect, as usual, the problem lies in our information sources.  If you, black or white, get your information from the white media, your view will be distorted against blacks in general and black leaders in particular (usually called rabble rousers).  Jet Magazine (Jan 29 or 22, 2007 - Mary J on the cover), showed, page 1, Jessie and Al receiving awards from the black community.  Jessie for his successful Wall Street (jobs for blacks) project and Al for continued fighting police brutality (which tends to get swept under the rug repeatedly).  Jet magazine (published by blacks for 50 years) is the only weekly where blacks can see blacks in any sort of positive light.  Jet publishes what the white media deliberately omits.  Before I retired, I used to put my Jets on a route slip that kept expanding to mostly whites.  One Jewish woman told me at her retirement that she now had her own Jet subscription.  Now, I give them away to blacks with children.  They come weekly and would pile up quickly.  So I don't have the copy to show you.

Your suggestion:  Slickness, Shrewdness can win for blacks, but Death and Repression follow.

I don't know if you're old enough to remember Malcolm X and Dr. King.  Violence vs. non-violence worked the media to drive whites toward King.  Dr. King was even given a Nobel Peace prize to help promote his non-violent action over Malcolm's calls for violent self-defense.  Without both of them working in tandem, blacks would not have gotten civil rights.  And, of course, They were both assassinated by elements within the FBI.  Any gains made through our subsequent legislative efforts to control the FBI were swept away with 9/11.  Now these bad guys have more power than ever, which is why I think they did it (9/11 was an inside job).  PLUS: Nobody in the FBI or CIA got fired after 9/11, while the whistle-blowers are still out of work.

It has been a pleasure swapping ideas with you Dessie. There are many more ideas available at my Political Email page.  There are many more political emails that I cannot place on my website because I have dedicated it to Anti-Hate.  I have written and received some pretty hatefull email about Islam.  Those emails are sent/received through my Political List.  If you request, I will place you on that list and try to bring you up to date on the other political email.  I also have some on-going email discussions with people in Europe.  I found, in talking to people in Paris and Amsterdam this past fall, that most if not all think that Bush is an idiot and that Americans must be idiots to have "re-elected" him.  I told them our democracy has been hijacked by BIG MONEY / BIG OIL and that His Fraudulancy, George II was elected by deliberate republican voter fraud both times.

Another major source of independent news is WBAI 99.5 fm.

Have fun,

Ken

Ken…(via Judy – wow, I had no idea my email would be forwarded, but that’s cool)

KEN YOU ARE SO WRONG!!!!!!!!!! God bless you and your brilliant mind, but they ARE NOT the friend of their race (Their awards from blacks say otherwise) – they are pawns.  (of whom?  The white supremacist want to discredit and silence them) They are being manipulated! (by whom?  Our organized opposition usually kills any effective black leaders)  Maybe they know it, maybe they don’t.  I have no doubt they are brave, but they are NOT smart.  (Maybe they may be smart like a fox.  They've managed to do things to help blacks while avoiding assassination)  They are sensationalized trophies.  (They are much needed agitators.  The rigidity of your position relative to these two men suggest you've been severely influenced negatively by something they said or did, or something you heard they said or did.)

ABSOLUTELY there are conspiracies. (Are you sure?  Do you recognize that you are caught up in one designed to keep more white people from joining Al and Jessie?  I suspect that even after you get that magazine from the library and read that blacks consider these men as heroes,  you will think blacks have been duped instead of you) That is exactly what I am saying.  But you need leaders (not permitted) who will do something about it litigiously,  (legal efforts to secure any kind of reparations is permanently stalled.  White people don't want their children to know how horribly white people treated blacks and Native Americans) not for the sake of sensationalism.  (This is your 2nd statement about sensationalism. I do remember the white press stating that these men were sensation seekers.  Most blacks laughed at that even before Sharpton was stabbed, in public by a racist.  We know that to seek sensation by trying to help blacks, is to seek death.) I’m well aware of the gov’t’s experiments, the syphilis experiments, etc. (etc. ??? What have you heard about other than the syphilis experiment?) (if that is what the book you mention is about…I should take a second to go to Amazon and make sure). (I always thought that the syphilis experiment was just the tip of the iceberg.  One where they happened to get caught --- and still nobody went to jail.  )

(You need to see this video again all the way to the end ( http://www.komotv.com/home/video/5001856.html?video=YHI&t=a ). We have a situation where black toddlers are wishing they were white.  Think of how many generations of blacks have grown up secretly and unconsciously hating black and wishing they were white.  Can you see the insanity in such a black group?  I call it "Group Neurosis bordering on Psychosis".  Well it's much worse than indicated so far.  There is a multimillion dollar industry (relaxers, straightening, extensions, etc.) to make black women's hair look like white women's hair.  Since the days of the short lived "Afro" no one would know that blacks still have wooly / kinky hair.  Black women's hair is straight and many black men shave their heads.  Remember Spike Lee's movie School Daze.  It cause a big negative reaction from the black community because it let the secret out of the bag --- Blacks with dark skin and kinky hair fighting blacks with light skin and straight hair.  This is the ultimate in self hate.)  There must be a balance of awareness and action. (nice dream) To simply live in the memory of tortured pain and anger will suppress creative leadership, positive life force, and cerebral inspiration! (This is why I read Jet)

I’m not anti-conspiracy.  Definitely don’t put me in that group!! Just ask my daughter.  I sit up to all hours probing and wondering about a variety of these things.

I’m anti-dwell on it. (But they're still out to get us.  They must be fought constantly.)  YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME.  The “what looks good on camera” game.  How can I present myself to the new generations of open minded spongelike voters.  (Many black politicians are doing just that, but you do not appear to consider them as black leaders)  HOW CAN I GET TO THEM FIRST?  How can I PR my way into their perception of intelligent, contributing members of society who have something to offer “me”.  The almighty “me”.  What is in it for them?  They have to be made to understand that the black man/woman is every bit a piece of humanity as they are.  (Is that degrading??  Schools that kicked out deadbeat teachers!

Schools that demanded the same funding as a WASP neighborhood!! (NY state has not done so even after years under a court order to do so)

Neighborhoods that started charter schools and ran things they way THEY want.  It worked in some prototypes in Harlem!!

(Whoa.  That's Nasty:  Used to justify genocide, slavery,  . . . , 9/11,  . . . , Iraq war)

Believe me.) (I wish I could believe you, but blacks are still under attack in every area and at every level.  And like they did through the centuries of slavery most white people keep their heads in the sand and pretend it's not happening.)

Do you admire this man??  I do.  (Although there are some issues I do disagree with.) Do you think I’m missing something?  Maybe I am…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Keyes  (I consider black republican conservatives as examples of the effect of the brainwashing system that makes black toddlers wish they were white: Anomalies.  White conservatives have never done anything for blacks unless they were forced, after which they would renege and sabotage it.  see Liberal vs Conservative.  Much of the problem lies in the fact that black conservatives are not the same as white conservatives.  This is similar to the fact that blacks do not worship the same God as whites.  The world always wondered how the slaves could worship the same God as the slave masters, including our slave owning, Indian hating, Founding Fathers.  They did not.  They had to use the same name but the God of the slaves is not bloodthirsty like the God of the slave masters.  The God of the slave masters is more like Mars, the bloodthirsty Roman god of war.  see comparison of today's Gods.  When one of these black conservative republicans actually accomplishes something to help blacks, I will give some consideration to their existence.  In the mean time the effect is as if they are dark skinned white people SAYING WHAT WHITE PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR.   This, in my mind is why you like him and dislike Al and Jessie.  Blacks generally distrust and dislike black republican conservatives and BLACKS CONSIDER AL and JESSIE HEROES.  You disagree.  The implication is the same as stated by white and black republican conservatives:  It is the fault of blacks that blacks have not progressed further.  The Christian white supremacist say it is because blacks are inferior.  The Founding Fathers agreed when they decreed a black to be 3/5 ths of a white person.)

Keyes has said his favorite professor at Cornell and Harvard was the political philosophy professor Allan Bloom. OMG !!!!!! Now I’m going to be up to 4 am reading!  I like the point by point stuff in red.  I know jet magazine well, I used to be in publishing.  Now I’m a homeschooling mom who DOES teach my daughter about these and other issues and has very important discussions in our coop with our black friends who are just as pro-active as you.  My one friend writes in Newsday and does a lecture circuit around the country on this very topic.  You would like her, though you would disagree on some points – like the efficacy of our friends Jessy and Al (although I will concede that you might have none better to take over, but that’s only a partial concession).

I shall digest this text, and respond.  Be prepared for my abortion and racial genocide tirade.

God bless (from the God of justice who might be worshipped by the enemy, but who DOESN’T return the favor…)
